| Welcome
to Issue 13 of Pitch R3port, a monthly edm from R3 that highlights the
major agency reviews in the marketing sector. |
|
|
MORE REVIEWS DECIDED THIS MONTH |
Another active period for global,
regional and local agency reviews. Global FMCG giant Unilever has
split its Asia business between GroupM and Omnicom Media Group, who
will take on China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Another large player in the haircare category, Alberto Culver , is also
reviewing global creative and media partners.
R3 is supporting a number of clients now on identifying digital agency
partners - there is clearly a shift now for the best marketers to have
more strategic relations with their digital partners.

Today, more than 60% of agency pitches
in the US use an independent consultant. Their role is to help
marketers cover the universe of potential agencies for their needs,
help find the best possible fit and long term partner and independently
resolve compensation terms. Last year, R3 led agency pitches for
Singapore Airlines globally, Coca-Cola and L'Oreal in China and SingTel
and Maybank in Singapore, amongst others.
