In a landmark study by Salesforce.com covering 5,000 marketers globally, we saw some important trends that were not there as little as two years ago. While all marketers talk about typical challenges of driving new business, getting new leads and keeping up to date with technology, it's the role of social and CRM that has really shifted. 
  • 64% see social as a critical enabler, up from 25% in 2014
  • 86% are now focused on the customer journey and Touchpoints
  • 58% now have a dedicated marketing team, up from 34% in 2014
More importantly, there trends are truly global. Here's the marketer response by country on their likelihood to increase their social investments.
